THE ACACIA STRAIN: Pre-Production Recording Of New Song Available

Massachusetts' THE ACACIA STRAIN has posted a pre-production song entitled "Dr. Doom" on the group's MySpace page.

Due later this year via Prosthetic Records, THE ACACIA STRAIN's new album, "Continent", will be recorded beginning on April 13 at Planet Z studio with producer Zeuss (HATEBREED, SHADOWS FALL, MUNICIPAL WASTE). The CD artwork will be designed by Paul Romano (MASTODON, THE RED CHORD, TRIVIUM),who previously worked with THE ACACIA STRAIN on 2006's "The Dead Walk".

Having just played a handful of Canadian shows in March, THE ACACIA STRAIN will again embark on a headlining tour this summer. Details, support bands and exact cities/dates will be announced shortly. In addition, the band will play a hometown show April 26 in Worcester, Massachusetts as part of the 10th annual New England Metal and Hardcore Festival.
